Data Dreams: Art and AI
21 November 20225 – 27 April 2026
‘Data Dreams: Art and AI’ is the first of its kind in a major Australian museum and is presented as part of the Sydney International Art Series 2025–26.
Featuring works by leading contemporary artists from around the world, ‘Data Dreams: Art and AI’ throws light on how artists are engaging with Artificial Intelligence to imagine new ways of being and to explore the implications that these technologies hold for our collective future.
‘Data Dreams’ brings into focus a range of contemporary concerns, including the relationships between technology and power; how algorithms and datasets are influencing our worldviews and calling our perception of reality into question; and the immense environmental costs of the data economy.
