Sydney Mardi Gras 2026
Celebrate the season of Ecstatica
The Sydney Mardi Gras 2026 Festival runs from 13 February to 1 March 2026, bringing colour, creativity and community to the city. One of the world’s most iconic LGBTQIA+ celebrations, Mardi Gras transforms Sydney with parades, parties, performances and outdoor events that draw visitors from around the globe.
The theme for the 48th annual festival is Ecstatica, celebrating joyful self-expression and the energy that comes from living boldly. The festival program features headline events including Fair Day on 15 February, the legendary Parade on 28 February, and the Final Bash on 1 March, alongside art exhibitions, panel talks, pool parties, drag brunches, live music and community events across the city.
